Several of our church friends are using their sewing skills to make masks for healthcare workers. The Village Sewing Center is collecting the masks from volunteers and then distributing them to nurses at Kaiser, Sutter and Memorial hospitals. The masks are used together with filters that nurses already have to make it much safer for them. As each mask is finished, our prayer is that God would keep these wonderful healthcare workers safe and bless them for helping those who need it most.
Here is a sample of some of the donated masks. If you have questions or would like to help, contact us at allie@fpcsantarosa.org.
Thanks to all of you who have participated so far!
