Creativity

Updated: Aug 19, 2020

This month during our Elementary Zoom calls we are talking about Creativity- Imagining what you could do because you are made in God’s image. Our memory verse is Ephesians 2:10 We are God’s creation. He created us to belong to Christ Jesus. Now we can do good works. Long ago God prepared these works for us to do.

This past Sunday during our K-3rd grade calls we talked about different ways we can use our creativity to help others, and we realized that there are a lot of ways that we are creative. Here are some photos of First Kids using their creativity.

Last Fall kids used their creativity to paint Pumpkins.

They also used creativity to show gratitude to our local Firefighters for keeping us safe during the Kincade Fire.

In December Kids used their creative abilities to make Advent Wreaths, share the Christmas story on Christmas Eve and have fun learning about Joy during Kids Church.

In Janury kids made stained glass art and shared their beautiful creations in the church window.

In February our Church hosted the Nomadic Shelter and our First Kids used their creativity to make Valentines for the guests. The Psalm singers used their talents to bless the guests with song.

Figuring out what we are good at doing is a great way to discover how we can creatively help others and share God's love.
