Thank You notes to Firefighters and Teachers

This month our Elementary kids are talking about Gratitude-letting others know you see how they’ve helped you. We've challenged kids and their families to work on saying "Thank You" to people that have helped them.

This past Sunday we decided to take this Gratitude Challenge a step further. We dropped off a little bag of stickers and note cards to kids that attend our Sunday Zoom calls. We took some time during our call to have all the kids write thank you notes to Firefighters, and teachers.

They drew pictures, and told stories of how they've been impacted by the work these people do. Some of these kids have dads that work for Cal Fire and they got to share about the work that they do to keep us safe. Later this week we will help get these cards to our firefighters and we encouraged the kids to give the cards to their teachers at their next school work pick up.

Here is a picture of some of the kids with the cards they made.

Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good. His faithful love continues forever. Psalm 136:1 (NIrV)
