No Bake Energy Bites


I don’t know about you, but during this time of Shelter in Place my family is constantly running to the kitchen looking for something to snack on. I’ve been trying to make sure we have some healthy stuff available to snack on at all times. We like to make these Energy Bites that have some nutritious stuff in them as well as sweet stuff. It’s also an easy cooking project for kids.


No Bake Energy Bites




1 cup oats

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup ground flaxseed meal (regular flax seed will work too)

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup shredded coconut

1/3 cup honey

1 tsp vanilla extract








We were low on chocolate chips, so we ended up chopping up a chocolate bunny left over from Easter.















Combine all ingredients together in a bowl; form into balls and refrigerate.

















And there you have a yummy snack to enjoy!
