Five Minute Devotional: Jesus Inaugurates the New Covenant

This devotional is about "Jesus as the Inaugurator of the New Covenant." In it I remind the people of the ratification ceremony of the Mosaic covenant as recorded in Exodus 24, speak of Jeremiah's prophecy of a new covenant, and then mention Jesus' words over the cup at the last supper, and two ways in which the writer of the Letter to the Hebrews suggests the new covenant is superior to the old covenant. I stress that both old and new covenants were grace-based, but the new covenant more radically so.
